Big Spring Government Employees Federal Credit Union is not a bank. We're a financial cooperative, owned and run by members to benefit members. Our focus is on developing a long-term relationship with you by offering you great service and great products.

We started our charter in 1950. Big Spring Government Employees Federal Credit Union was chartered to serve the employees and the family members of several government employers here in Big Spring, Texas. Today, we not only serve Big Spring government employees and their families but also numerous entities in the Big Spring area. Big Spring Government Employees Federal Credit Union is a progressive, full-service financial institution. We provide quality service as a not-for-profit financial cooperative, owned and democratically controlled by its membership. We are guided by an all-volunteer Board of Directors and volunteer committees. All members get one vote for the Board of Directors, regardless of the amount on deposit in the Credit Union. By saving at the Credit Union, you help provide the funds for members who need to borrow. Only members may use the service and share in the benefits of Big Spring Government Employees Federal Credit Union.
